"Mama"

Jean, I thought this was a quite  scary movie. I think I jumped at least twice. (I remember the first time I saw "The Shining" or "The Ring" after seeing this one.) There are no hockey masks or chain saws but it lets your imagination take over. And the apparition was slowly revealed and I thought it was  very, very good. You have to put the story together for yourself until the ending from the hints of the records and psychiatrist notes, etc. Jessica Chastain was excellent again. The ending comes in a rush and you think you have it and then they change things. I am still figuring out what they were telling us. I would not be surprised if this is around for a while.  Dad
